The following are suggested wordings for the Barony of Darkwater’s awards. For each award the traditional wording is listed, then alternatives. If writing your own wording, please be sure to keep the spirit of the original wording and the reason for the award in mind.

May be bestowed for promise in the arts or sciences to the Barony of Darkwater.

Hidden Treasure
May be bestowed for service to the Barony of Darkwater.
Badge: Sable, on a plate between four escallops inverted Or, a trident head gules, all within an orle argent.
Traditional wording: A pearl is created layer by layer and glows with a luster that comes from within. Through willing hands and hearts and service are created the hidden treasures of our Barony. Thus do We {names} Baron and Baroness of Darkwater create {name} a Companion of the League of the Hidden Treasure, done this {date} day of {month}, A.S. {year}.
Traditional wording: Even as a pearl glows with a luster that comes from within, so in the enduring service of willing hands and helpful hearts are created the hidden treasures of our barony. Dark waters often hide glorious treasures, revealed to us by the ebb and flow of the tides. So too through their willing hands and helpful hearts are revealed the riches of our Barony. In the dark depths of the seas, glorious treasures may be discovered, glistening with inner fire and beauty. There are those whose generosity and devotion to service is revealed as the true largesse of our Barony. Within a deep cave a dragon hides its hoard, so that none will know of its brilliance. Often too are good works hidden behind a generous heart and willing hands. Those are those in search of wealth and glory, seeking treasures which have been hidden away. Trident Keype
The premier service award of the Barony of Darkwater. (Traditionally given for enduring and exemplary service.)
Badge: Sable on an escallop inverted Or, a castle of three towers gules
Traditional wording: Upon a foundation of stone, a keype is built brick by brick. Upon a foundation of service is our society built task by task. Thus do We, {names} Baron and Baroness of Darkwater, make you {name} a Companion of the Order of the Tridents Keype, ** and bestow by authority of the Crown Trimaris this Award of Arms,** to be accorded all rights and privileges thereof. Stone and mortar are needed to build a mighty keype, just as dedication and service are needed to build a great society.
