Oyez! The Barony of Darkwater invites you to explore the Middle Ages and Renaissance at our hands on demonstration for children.

Where: Magnolia Park Pavillion II 2929 S Binion Rd. Apopka, FL 32703
Cost: FREE!! (donations are welcome for our supplies)

All ages are welcome. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult/guardian.

12:30-1:00pm Registration/Sign-in
1:00-5:00pm Hands-on Demonstrations

Fiber Arts - carding, spinning, weaving
Kitchen arts - soap making, salves and potions, candle making, dyeing
Trades - chain mail, leather and illumination
Daily Fun - dance, board games and field games

The Society for Creative Anachronism Inc (SCA) is a non-profit, international organization dedicated to researching and re-creating the arts and skills of pre-17th-century Europe. Our "Known World" consists of 19 kingdoms, with over 30,000 members residing in countries around the world. Members, dressed in clothing of the Middle-Ages and Renaissance, attend events which feature tournaments, royal courts, feasts, dancing, various classes & workshops, and more. The Barony of Darkwater is the Central Florida group, encompassing most of the Greater Orlando area and all of Orange, Osceola, Seminole and Lake Counties.
